Message those have given me a different view of the root cause to the car's problems. I'll google up the relationship between CAS, PTU, ECU and the injector cycle and why my #2 injector keeps dying; I'm sure it's related to the mis-aligned cas, somehow.

As of today, the ConZult software is here. Haven't installed it yet, still need a old windows pc. If anyone has it running on Win7, 8 or 10, could you post it? I have a copy of XP somewhere and possible win98 if I can find it.

Also ordered a new CAS but it won't be here til sometime next week. If I understand the .pdf, I'll need one anyway. Need one anyway cause the old one is chewed up. I'll also need to make room in the shop for this car cause it will take a week or so to do the work. Not garage work this.

Yes, I needed to take the car to a Z specialist when the car was having/ is having all these problems. In 1990 Nissan was "The Z Specialist". The car was new with no known problems at the time or indication of problems with which the mechanics could fall back on to diagnose what was wrong with the car; they were as much in the dark as I was. I later, after the warranty expired, tried a few foreign car shops but they refused to work on engine related problems. "Take it to Nissan", they said. Really no other options other than a lot of long distance telephone calls that netted no results. There was no internet then to research problems, not like there is now.

I'm about to become my own Z specialist.

That is a really nice car.

jet lag is setting in. think I'll take like a 18 hour nap.

conzult and pressure and compression test tomorrow
